Lost: Prosthetic Eye
I know I am retarded...the phrase if you didn't have your head attached you would lose it comes to mind. Unfortunatly my fake eye doesn't stay attached and I made the mistake of taking out cause it was hurting me with all the pollen in the air. So I put it in my bag after I put my pirate patch on. Some where on the way to work I think it fell out of my bag. It is a blue eye and kinda looks like a oversized contact. I'd be psyched if you found it cause I am getting old of this whole pirate thing.

FOUND: Hand in Bottle
I have found several corked bottles floating in Clopper Lake. Each one contains an image of a hand suspended by a thread.
(the following pictures were included in the post. they have been reduced in size to fit them on the page easier)

(below were comments under each photo, 1, 2, and 3 respectively)
(photo 1:) On one side is a black and white image with a message on the palm. This one reads,"Ask instead why you don't recogniz the answer now?"
(photo 2:) This one reads,"The answer will only change the question?" Another image [not pictured] reads, "To find your answer look for a starngers question."
(photo 3:) I removed this picture from the bottle. This side of the hand is in color. It appears to have been used as a postcard. It has several stamps (Romainian?) and a French postmark. Email me if you have any information about these found objects or if you want more information about the message typed here.
Here is a picture I took of one of the bottles before I went to the boat house, rented a boat and retrieved it.

(a picture of the lake where the person found these "hands" was included in the post. I reduced the size for bandwidth reasons and circled the only discernable area where something seemed to floating on the lake which the poster is probably referring to)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
**The above post turned out to be quite a phenomenon. There were several write ups in the news about these mysterious bottles. Everyone was trying to figure out what they meant. The guy who made them finally revealed himself. He has a terrific website about secrets and is coming out with a book. So, in the end, this turned out to be one super clever marketing campaign.

Lost: My Soul
I sold it a while back and would be willing to do anything to get it back. I recently spoke to a soothsayer who mentioned it may now be in the possesion of a third party soul broker.
Please contact my at the above number (encrypted in the text) if you have any tips.
Thanks,
Bill

Missing: democracy, slightly used
I seemed to have misplaced my country...I pleged allegiance to it and damn it I was irresponsible and now its gone. It was last seen in the back of a pickup truck in Texas, going to the landfill. In the truck were some WMDs, civil rights, privacy rights, and Monica's dress. The truck was a black HEMI V 12 Magnum Cummins Turbo diesel. It had a Halliburton logo on the door.
If you find it, please let me know! I miss it dearly and look forward to its return.

Lost: Pair o' Chickens, west o' downtown
I spotted them a few minutes ago at the acupuncture offices of Peter Chabarek and Larry Weinstein, at the SE corner of Broadway and Washington.
They appear to be one male and one female (judging by the comb on one and the smaller size of the other...). And no, they haven't been plucked yet.
I bet they're gonna try roosting in the big laurel bush alongside the building, unless someone comes to get them soon. They're hungry, and were rootin' for worms (I guess) in the dry leaf mulch...
A passerby told me they'd been in that general lot mos' all afternoon. Tomorrow? Who can tell. The guy kinda' seemed interested in having a big ol' chicken dinner, if you ask me.

Found: Half eaten muffin
JFK plaza, muffin is in a resealable plastic sandwich bag. No serial numbers, looks like blueberry. Tell me how many bites have been taken, and the brand of baggie and it's yours.
Also, a little bit of somebody's cocaine from the home depot parking lot. Anybody who wants it can have it.
